Ronald Zuurmond (1964) lives and works in Tilburg.

He studied sociology (1984-1990) at the Catholic University Brabant.

After his graduation at the university he studied art for one year at the Academy for Art in Tilburg.

He than had private lessons for almost two years from the painter Jan Beutener.

His oil paintings show traditional themes: landscapes, still lifes, portaits and self portraits.

Over the last years he started making collages using failed canvases for cutting out figurative forms he than mounts on canvas or paper.
